The sound of the doorbell woke Bibi on a sunny Saturday morning. The week had passed by in a blur and all she wanted to do was sleep in. Even Bade who usually woke up early on Saturday mornings to go for a jog with Jimmy their neighbour was fast asleep. He was snoring softly beside her on the bed. She gazed at the time. Wow! She couldn’t believe that it was almost ten o’clock. She was usually up by 8 am on Saturdays. She rolled off the bed and wore her flip flops. She was wearing her pyjamas which was decent enough. She ran her hands through her hair and patted it. Opening the door quietly so as not to wake Bade up, she walked down the stairs and into the sitting room.
