Darima's Dilemma was long overdue
for my review. The movie features actors like Majid Michel, IK Ogbonna, Mbong
Amata and Diana Yekini. The movie was directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen
Mbong Amata played the role of
twins with one of them being reckless while the other was more reserved. Things
got out of hands one day when Dise decided to play the role of her sister
Darima. Darima had taken off with her boyfriend and pleaded with her Sister
Dise to take her place in her matrimonial home until she was back from her
trip. Diana Yekini played the role of a ‘biatch’ in this movie; the definition
of the friend you don’t want to have. By the way,I haven't seen her act in a
lot of movies lately. Alright, refocusing before I veer off to another topic
entirely.
Okay, let me say Majid Michel and
Mbong Amata displayed a great chemistry in this movie and completely immersed
themselves in the characters which they played. I've seen a couple of Mbong
Amata movies but haven't seen her act as well as she did in this movie. Unlike
some Nollywood movies where the story always seems familiar, Darima's Dilemma
had a different story with several twists to it.
One thing though - Joshua, played
by Majid Michel was unaware of the fact that the woman in is house was not his
wife for a long time. I found that to be quite weird. Like, despite the fact
that his wife was an identical twin, he should have been able to tell the
difference like right away...........
I rate this movie 4 out of 5.
Great Plot, Great Acting, Great Cinematography, Cool Story line....
For those outside of Nigeria,
Happy Viewing on Congatv, IbakaTv (Maybe)... Not sure whether the movie is
still available for sale on DVD.

I'd rate it a 31/2 though :)
