Hello World
and Francine Rivers' Fans,
Wave if you are reading
this :-)
So I was introduced to
Francine Rivers' books some time in 2003.How can I ever forget her first book which I read - AS SURE AS THE DAWN. I was WOWED. Who was this writer who wrote so gorgeously? The book was part of a trilogy. I read the other two books in the series a year or two after that.
The trilogy-
A Voice in the wind, An echo in the darkness and As sure as the dawn had a
profound effect on me back then.
These books
are on amazon.com if you are curious about them.
After a few years of not
releasing a novel, Francine Rivers is giving us something to whet our reading appetites. It's a Novel called the Master Piece. The book will not be available
until February 6th, 2018. Feel free to pre-order the book before then
though.
A successful
LA artist, Roman Velasco appears to have everything he could possibly
want—money, women, fame. Only Grace Moore, his reluctant, newly hired personal
assistant, knows how little he truly has. The demons of Roman’s past seem to
echo through the halls of his empty mansion and out across his breathtaking
Topanga Canyon view. But Grace doesn’t know how her boss secretly wrestles with
those demons: by tagging buildings as the Bird, a notorious but unidentified
graffiti artist—an alter ego that could destroy his career and land him in
prison.
Like Roman,
Grace is wrestling with ghosts and secrets of her own. After a disastrous
marriage threw her life completely off course, she vowed never to let love
steal her dreams again. But as she gets to know the enigmatic man behind the
reputation, it’s as if the jagged pieces of both of their pasts slowly begin to
fit together . . . until something so unexpected happens that it changes the
course of their relationship—and both their lives—forever.
I
am joyfully counting down to February 6th 2018 when I can finally lay my hands
on this book. I bet it'll be nothing short of a Master Piece (Pun Intended).
Cheerio.......
